Pretty Ladies

We love these darling little headvases! Sara currently has three; the one pictured below was found in a cute little antique shop in South Carolina and is the first headvase Sara found that has all of its accessories in tact (i.e. the umbrella). A quick history: They range in size and are (obviously) used to hold flowers; headvases were imported from Japan between 1950-1970; they're worth anywhere from $20 to $10,000!; a lot of the vases are modelled after famous actors/models/etc. (Info from http://ladiesofthehouse--ak.blogspot.com/2007/12/short-history-of-lady-head-vases.html)
